近代城市发展与职业教育的关系研究——以天津与上海为例
Research on the Relationship between Urban Development and Vocational Education in Modern Times:Taking Tianjin and Shanghai as Examples

摘要
中国近代职业教育随着城市现代化的发展而兴起、完善并日臻成熟,应城市发展需求而不断革新,同时亦推动城市向前进步.从洋务学堂之"制造工艺",实业学堂之"民用经济",到实用学堂之"社会需求",职业教育的办学宗旨从自强求富变为获取生活幸福,从借鉴效仿国外到结合地情酌情兴办,现代化前沿城市天津与上海走出了各具风格的职业教育发展之路.文章以新式教育兴起之地的天津与上海为例,比较两地职业教育发展的差异之处及产生的不同作用,以探讨近代城市发展与职业教育的互动关系.
Abstract
Modern vocational education in China has emerged,improved and matured with the development of urban modernization.It keeps innovating by responding to the needs of urban development and promotes urban progress.From"manufacturing technique"of the westernization school,"civilian economy"of the industrial school to"social needs"of the practical school,the school-running purpose of vocational education has turned from striving for prosperity to obtaining the happiness of life and from learning from overseas to setting up schools according to local conditions.The modern cities of Tianjin and Shanghai have also found out the paths of vocational education de-velopment with their own styles.Taking Tianjin and Shanghai,where the new type of education is emerging,as examples,this study com-pares the differences in the development of vocational education between the two cities and their different roles,in order to explore the in-teractive relationship between urban development and vocational education in modern times.
