Implementation,Reform Direction and Enlightenment of Lifelong Vocational Education and Training Policy in South Korea
From the Kim Young-sam administration first advocating the construction of a"lifelong vocational education and training system"to the proposal to build a"capable society"of the Park Geun-hye administration,South Korea's lifelong vocational education and training system has been continuously improved and a series of typical policies and systems have been introduced.During the period of the Moon Jae-in ad-ministration,the medium and long-term plan for lifelong vocational education and training was issued,which further clarified the direction of the reform.The lifelong vocational education and training system in South Korea has opened up various career paths and lifelong career devel-opment paths for its citizens,improved the employment rate,and effectively supported the development of national industry.China can learn from the implementation experience of the policy,build a modern vocational education system that is vertically articulated and horizontally in-tegrated,industry-education integrated,collaborative and innovative,serving the whole people,open and inclusive,so as to improve the level of lifelong development of vocational education and provide important support for the establishment of a learning society and a skill-based society.
