Location characteristics and formation mechanism of tourist hotel accommodation in Guilin urban area——Based on analysis of travel track
Accommodation facilities such as hotels are important windows to reflect the image and service level of tourist cities.There is little systematic interpretation based on the demand-side dimension of tourists.Therefore,an analytical framework that can provide a reasonable explanation for multiple conclusions is urgently needed to clarify the scene constraints and application value bound-aries of different conclusions.This paper took Guilin travel notes published by Ctrip Travel Online as the data source,extracted the ac-commodation information in tourists"travel trajectories,used cluster analysis,kernel density estimation,space syntax and other methods to interpret the spatial characteristics of tourists hotel accommodation in Guilin urban area,and interpreted the formation mechanism of the spatial distribution of tourists"accommodation from the perspective of the ternary relationship of"tourist destination-tourist flow-hotel".The results showed that:①The accommodation space of tourists in Guilin urban area had significant agglomeration characteris-tics,which were manifested as a multi-node distribution pattern.②The agglomeration nodes of accommodation facilities such as hotels could be divided into three types:"adjacent to the traffic portal","adjacent to the target landscape"and"located in the convenient transportation area",which were manifested as at least one of the two spatial characteristics of"convenient tourism transportation"and"adjacent landscape resources".③The agglomeration of accommodation facilities such as hotels were affected by the spatial distribution of tourist flows,while the spatial distribution of tourist flows was affected by the spatial structure of tourist destinations.The relationship between"tourist destination-tourist flow-hotel"constituted the analytical framework of the spatial distribution mechanism of tourist accommodation.④The analysis of"tourist destination-tourist flow-hotel"could incorporate the multiple conclusions drawn from dif-ferent perspectives in traditional research into the same framework and give theoretical explanations.
