Spatio-temporal differences and driving factors of urban economic resilience in the Yellow River Basin
The Yellow River Basin is an important region for China's economic development. It is a key measure to promote its high-quality economic development by enhancing the economic resilience. This paper established an economic resilience evaluation index system from three dimensions, and applied the entropy value method to measure the economic resilience in the Yellow River Basin based on the panel data of 78 cities in this basin from 2005 to 2020.This paper analyzed the spatio-temporal tendency of economic resilience in the Yellow River Basin,to clarify the spatio-temporal differentiation and explore the driving factors of the differentiation. The results showed that:①In terms of time evolution trend, the economic resilience of most cities in the Yellow River Basin was on the rise, and the downstream cities had the strongest economic resilience.②In terms of spatial evolution trend, the cities with advanced economic resili-ence were mainly concentrated in the provincial capital or its surrounding areas. The economic resilience of the cities showed an increas-ingly significant agglomeration trend.③In terms of spatio-temporal differentiation, residents'risk resistance ability, government policy support and market size had shown significant effect on the spatiotemporal differences of economic resilience in the Yellow River Basin. The leading factors for the spatio-temporal differentiation of economic resilience in the upper, middle and lower basins were different.Furthermore, the interaction of any two driving factors would enhance the explanatory power of a single factor to the spatio-temporal differentiation of economic resilience.
