From resources to capital:The types,values,and transformation of forestry cultural heritage——Taking the Qingshui River Basin as the research center
The cultural heritage of forestry,as a special type of heritage,demonstrates notable and universal value in the era of eco-logical civilization.Analyzing the connotation and effectiveness of forestry cultural heritage can provide new perspectives and references for the protection and research of cultural heritage.This article focused on the Qingshui River Basin and analyzed and summarized the types and formation,value connotation,protection and utilization,as well as value enhancement logic of forestry cultural heritage.The re-sults showed that:①Forestry cultural heritage could be categorized into five major types:species,techniques,landscapes,memories,and tools.These heritages were based on understanding and utilizing forest resources,closely related to nature,ecology,environment,etc.,making them a unique resource.②The characteristics of forestry cultural heritage was composed of different elements and systems,de-termine its multiple values,such as product supply,cultural services,social network construction,and the condensation of ecological wis-dom.③The Qingshui River Basin vivified forestry cultural heritage in four aspects:institutional protection,extension of the industry chain,development of tourism,and inheritance of ecological concepts,translating the potential value it contained into tangible economic,social,ecological,and cultural benefits.④The theoretical logic of forestry cultural heritage lied in its exploration and utilization within the framework of protection as a premise,promoting the conversion of resources into capital and realizing value enhancement.
