Research on the spatio-temporal pattern and driving mechanism of high-quality development of the economic-social-ecological system in the Yellow River Basin
A high-quality development evaluation system was constructed based on the three dimensions of economy-society-e-cology,and the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and driving mechanisms of high-quality developmentwere measured and ana-lyzed in the Yellow River Basin from 2001 to 2020.The results indicated that:①The development level of the economic, social, and eco-logical dimensions was on the rise, and regional differences were decreasing. In terms of space, the main types were medium to low lev-els,and there was a significant mismatch in the high-quality development of the three dimensions.②High quality development was showing a continuous upward trend, with a spatial focus on medium to low levels and gradually improving balance; The level of coordina-ted development needed to be enhanced, and high coordinated areas were only distributed in point like inlaid patterns in low level areas. The characteristics of correlation agglomeration were significant, with a circular distribution of hot and cold spots from downstream to up-stream.③The spatial differentiation of high-quality development presents a hierarchical feature, which was consistent with the level of urban administrative hierarchy;Showing clustering characteristics, cities within the urban cluster were superior to other cities;Featuring functionalization, the development of comprehensive functional cities was relatively optimal;Featuring locational characteristics, the de-velopment of downstream and riverside cities was relatively favorable.④The comprehensive driving force of various factors such as geo-graphical location, economic technology, strategic policies, history and culture had formed a high-quality development pattern.
