Innovation is the first driving force for enterprises to achieve high-quality development,and it is also an important means for enterprises to improve market competitiveness and independent innovation capabilities.Profoundly revealing the relationship between digital transformation and innovation in sports enterprises is of great significance for the high-quality development of Chinas sports industry.Selecting A-share sports enterprises in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2012 to 2021 as research sam-ples,this study empirically tested the impact and mechanism of digital transformation on innovation in sports enterprises in China.The results indicated that:Digital transformation had a positive effect on innovation in sports enterprises.The promotion effect of digital transformation on innovation in sports enterprises was mainly achieved by reducing human capital investment,optimizing the structure of innovative personnel,and improving operational efficiency.The positive impact of digital transformation on innovation in sports enterpri-ses was more significant in state-owned sports enterprises.
