The spatio-temporal differences and its digital influence of the integrated development of sports and tourism industry in Western China
In order to explore the spatiotemporal differences and digital impacts of the integrated development of sports and tourism industry in Western China, this paper adopted the panel data of 12 provinces in Western China from 2012 to 2021,and then applied en-tropy method, coupling coordination model,ESDA method, and fixed effect model for empirical analysis. The results showed that:①The comprehensive development level of sports and tourism industry was significantly improved, and the comprehensive development level of tourism industry was overall higher than that of sports industry, and moreover, both of them had a high degree of synchronicity.②The comprehensive development level of Southwest China was significantly higher than that of Northwest China, and Sichuan,Shaanxi, and Yunnan provinces were at the forefront of development.③The coupling and coordination degree of the sports and tourism industry was low on the whole, and most of them were in the initial stage, but the integration degree was constantly improving. In addition, there was regional heterogeneity among different provinces, rendering a spatial distribution pattern of"high in southwest and low in northwest".④The coupling and coordination degree of the physical tourism industry had a positive spatial aggregation feature, and the aggregation de-gree showed an increasing trend.⑤Digital development played a significant role in promoting the integration of sports and tourism in-dustry.On this basis, this paper put forward suggestions on optimizing the integrated development of physical tourism from four aspects:spatial interaction, digital empowerment, adaptation to local conditions and combining government and market.
