Evolution process and mechanism of cultural and tourism integration in ancient towns from the perspective of symbiosi——Taking Yangshuo Town as an example
The"14th Five-Year"Tourism Development Plan has made the important goal of China's cultural and tourism integra-tion and development clear,and it is necessary to adhere to the in-depth integration of culture and tourism,and dive the high-quality development of the tourism industry.This paper introduced the symbiosis theory,constructed an analytical framework for the symbiosis of cultural and tourism integration in ancient towns,and selected Yangshuo Town as a case object,analyzed the evolution process and mechanism of cultural and tourism integration in Yangshuo Town through participatory observation,text analysis and in-depth inter-views and other research methods.The results showed that:①The process of cultural and tourism integration in Yangshuo Town,which was the symbiotic evolution of cultural and tourism,had resulted in the flow and change of symbiotic elements such as power relations,industrial system,spatio-temporal environment and functional significance.②The evolution of the integration of cultural and tourism in Yangshuo Town had significant stage characteristics,and had gone through three stages of elemental symbiosis,structural symbiosis and functional symbiosis,which was manifested in the evolution of achieving the integration of cultural and tourism symbiotic resources,the expansion of cultural and tourism symbiotic industries,and finally the completion of cultural and tourism symbiotic value creation.③Power as the dominant force,capital as the driving force,and habitus as the supporting force jointly promoted the evolution of cultural and tourism integration in Yangshuo Town,the game of power dominated the distribution of cultural and tourism resources,the operating logic of capital promoted the cultural and tourism integration from the elements to the in-depth integration of functions,and the habitus of different actors shaped the field of cultural and tourism integration,and at the same time was reshaped along with the development of the field.
