Measurement for the high-quality development of industrial integration in the Yangtze River Delta and its spatio-temporal evolution law
This paper aimed to reveal the spatial distributions and spatial-temporal dynamic evolutions for the high-quality de-velopment of industrial integration in the Yangtze River Delta using the spatial exploratory analysis method and spatial Markov Chain, with the high-quality development levels of industrial integration measured by the panel entropy weight method on 41 cities in the Yan-gtze River Delta spanning the years 2007 to 2020,closely following the Agreement Division of Labour Theories and five concepts for de-velopment.The results showed that:①The overall trends of industrial integration,high-quality development, and the comprehensive in-dex level for the high-quality development of industrial integration in the Yangtze River Delta was gradually increasing, and the level of high-quality development was higher than that of industrial integration.②The spatial distribution of the high-quality development level of industrial integration formed a pattern of"municipality and provincial capital cities were higher, the east was higher than the west, and the central city was higher than the peripheral city".③The high-quality development of industrial integration in each region was spatially dependent, and the local high-quality development level of industrial integration was pulled up when the rank of the sur-rounding cities was higher than that of the local, with a"diffusion effect".④ The clustering pattern for the high-quality development of industrial integration in the Yangtze River Delta was relatively stable and difficult to change in the short term.
