Study on the spatial structure of geographical indications of agricultural products and rural tourism correlation in China
The study of the distribution of agricultural product geographical indications from the perspective of rural tourism devel-opment provides theoretical and practical insights for the integrated development of agriculture and tourism.Based on an exploration of the typological structure and spatial differentiation characteristics of agricultural product geographical indications in China, this paper analyzed the spatial relationships between agricultural product geographical indications and tangible entities such as beautiful leisure vil-lages,star-rated rural tourism enterprises, and key villages for national rural tourism. The study revealed that the variety of agricultural product geographical indications was continuously expanding, with a decreasing proportion of grains and oilseeds and an increasing pro-portion of vegetables, fruits, and by-products.Spatially,agricultural product geographical indications in China exhibited a pattern of"more in the east and west, less in the center,"with three high-density areas and four secondary high-density areas, showing signifi-cant strip-like agglomeration characteristics. There was a significant positive correlation between agricultural product geographical indi-cations and both beautiful leisure villages and star-rated rural tourism enterprises, while the correlation with key villages for national rural tourism was not significant. The potential for integrated development of leisure rural tourism varied, being relatively high, lower,or low.Based on the relationship between agricultural product geographical indications and rural leisure tourism, five types of integrated de-velopment models could be identified.
