Research on the measurement of and influencing factors on China's coastal port logistics efficiency——An empirical analysis based on the super-efficiency SBM-Tobit model
The measurement of port logistics efficiency and the identification of its influencing factors is the key to achieving port sustainable development and a powerful guarantee for boosting regional economic development. The super-efficiency SBM model and the Nich-Hurst evolutionary trend model were used to explore China's coastal port logistics efficiency and the future development trend, and the Tobit model was used to identify the influencing factors of port logistics efficiency. The results showed that:①China's coastal port logistics efficiency generally showed a fluctuating upward trend, but there were obvious inter-port evolutionary differences due to the influence of relevant policies and domestic and international economic environments.②The spatial difference in China's coastal port logistics efficiency was significant, showing the spatial distribution characteristics of"high in the north and low in the south".③China's coastal port logistics efficiency showed a better upward trend in the future, while there was also a risk that spatial differences would continue to widen.④Concentration and evacuation capacity, economic strength and scientific and technological inno-vation had a strong positive driving effect on port logistics efficiency, while opening-up level to the outside world had a negative driving effect on port logistics efficiency.
