Study on coupling and coordination driving factors in the digital economy and China's high-quality agricultural development
Improving the allocation efficiency of agricultural resource factors is an important engine for achieving high-quality ag-ricultural development, while the digital economy as a new kinetic energy can maximize the allocation structure of agricultural resource factors to facilitate the digital transformation of agricultural production, and boost the coordinated development in digital economy and high-quality agriculture. This paper measured the level of digital economy and the high-quality agricultural development in China, and utilized the entropy method, the coupled coordination model, and the random panel Tobit model to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the coupled coordination level in digital economy and the high-quality agricultural development and their driving factors in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China from 2011 to 2020.The study found that the level of dig-ital economy and high-quality agricultural development in China were both on the increasing trend, but there was significant spatial heterogeneity. The degree of coupling coordination between the two ranged from 0.5 to 0.7,which was between barely coordination and primary coordination. The level of agricultural financial support, urbanization rate, environmental regulation, and transportation accessi-bility had a significant impact on the coupling coordination degree, but the impact varied greatly across regions. On the above, this paper proposed policy recommendations to promote the coordinated development in the digital economy and high-quality agriculture from five aspects:Promoting the digital economy, facilitating the integration of the digital economy and high-quality agriculture, adjusting the fi-nancial agricultural support structure and strengthening the environmental regulation, reinforcing the digital technology and factors cross-regional flow, and implementing the differentiated development strategy.
