The integration of urban and rural development is an inevitable trend in the promotion of comprehensive rural revitaliza-tion.As an urban-rural integration industry,rural homestay is helpful to promote the realization of rural revitalization goals and reshape the new urban-rural relationship.From the perspective of urban-rural integration,combined with the regional system theory of human-land relationship,this paper constructed the logical framework of rural homestay to help rural revitalization.The results showed that:①As an urban-rural integration industry,rural homestay not only activated rural endogenous power by coordinating internal and exter-nal driving in-situ development,but also undertaked urban-rural interaction to strengthen rural exogenous power,and jointly promoted the practice of rural comprehensive revitalization.②Combined with the verification and analysis of typical cases,it was found that rural homestays were faced with problems such as scattered rural resources,single subject,chaotic space and limited urban-rural integration in the development process.③Focusing on multi-level content such as multi-factor integration,organizational structure renewal,func-tional relationship reconstruction and system synergy,this paper constructed the mechanism path of rural homestay to help rural revital-ization under the background of urban-rural integration,which was helpful to provide reference for the high-quality development of rural homestay,urban-rural integration,rural revitalization and the realization of common prosperity.
