Analysis on spatial differentiation of arable land multifunction and socio-economic coordination model in Beijing
Taking Beijing as an example we evaluated the productive, ecological and social functions of arable land in thirteen counties using characterization factors and excluding urban core areas. We used the AHP method to evaluate the productive, ecological and social functions of arable land; economic and social development levels were evaluated the same way.Based on an administrative map of Beijing and evaluation of multifunction arable land in thirteen counties,we explored spatial features using GIS technology. We used joint entropy modeling to estimate spatial correlation for multifunction arable land and the social economy.Last,we divided productive, ecological, social functions and economic level into low, middle and high and classified different combinations of stages into five types of coordination model to analyze evolution characteristics and trends. We aimed to reveal the manifest characteristics of multifunction arable land and the impact of socio-economics.The results showed that economic and social development, and multifunction arable land,in our focal counties have strong spatial correlation; counties with high multi function are the economically developed regions. In addition, with development of the economy, the coordination model of the county changed from a low level economy accompanied by a triangle pattem of high productive-middle social-low ecology function to a high level economy accompanied by an inverted triangle pattern of low productive-middle social-high ecology function.Judging from time series, these counties are trending toward positive succession whereby productive function increases and ecological function decreases gradually.
