An analysis of the rule of TCM medicine in treating renal edema based on data mining
Objective:To analyze the research status of published literature on the treatment of renal edema with TCM medicine through data mining technology,and to explore the rule of drug use and the characteristics of core prescriptions.Methods:Chinese databases such as CNKI,CBM,Wanfang Data Platform,Weipu Data Network,CSPD and CCD were collected.The main databases were the documents that met the inclusion criteria since the establishment of the CNKI database.The meridian orientation,efficacy,frequency,association rules,network visualization and cluster analysis of drug properties and tastes were analyzed by using EXCEL IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 and IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 software,and the results were summarized.Results:A total of 166 articles were included,including 83 effective prescriptions.The total frequency of drug use was 945,involving 145 kinds of TCM medicines.Thirty herbs(with a frequency greater than 10)were used more frequently.The top 5 were Fuling(Poria),Huangqi(Radix Astragali),Baizhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae),Zexie(Rhizoma Alismatis)and Danshen(Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae).The efficacy analysis showed that the frequently used medicine were diuretic and hygroscopic,Qi(气)tonifying,blood activating and stasis removing,pungent and warm exterior relieving medicine,and Yin(阴)tonifying medicine.All the medicine were analyzed in terms of four Qi and five flavors.The four Qi medicine were mainly cold,warm,calm and cool,and the cold medicine ranked first.The five tastes were sweet,bitter,pungent,light and sour,with sweet taste as the first.Channel tropism is arranged as lung,liver,kidney,spleen,stomach,heart,bladder,large intestine and small intestine according to frequency.The medicine association rules and cluster analysis showed that the analysis of association rules summarized that the core compatibility combination of drugs was Huangqi-Baizhu-Fuling-Zexie-Danshen.Cluster analysis showed that the new combination included 1 pair of drug pairs and 7 groups of medicine combinations.Conclusion:Through data mining and analysis of the included literature,it is found that the clinical treatment of renal edema in TCM medicine is based on the principle of promoting water,removing dampness,warming Yang(阳),promoting Qi,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.High frequency medicine and core prescriptions obtained by the research institute can provide reference for clinical treatment of renal edema.On the basis of literature data mining,dialectical and unified selection of appropriate TCM medicine prescriptions can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of renal edema.
