Discussion on the acupoint selection rule of acupuncture for the treatment of insomnia after stroke based on the complex network
Objective:To explore the core acupoints and compatibility rules of treating post-stroke insomnia by related acupoints in clinical acupuncture based on complex network technique. Methods:The relevant articles of clinical trials on acupuncture treatment of post-stroke insomnia were retrieved from CNKI,WanFang,VIP,CBM and PubMed published before March 2022.The database was established by Microsoft Excel 2019.The complex network and demonstrate the complex network diagram were analyzed by Gephi 0.9.2 software. Results:Finally,a total of 117 eligible articles containing 228 acupoint prescriptions and 103 acupoints were extracted. The total frequency of use of the 103 acupoints was 1 733.Among them,Shenmen(HT7)was used most frequently, followed by Baihui(DU20),Sishencong(EX-HN1),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Neiguan(PC6).The mainly involved meridians are the Du meridian(督脉)and the bladder meridian of Foot Taiyang(足太阳).The involved specific acupoints are the Five-shu(五输)acupoints,being the most commonly used, followed by the Yuan-source acupoints, the eight confluence points. The analysis of complex network topology revealed that a total of 17 acupoints including Shenmen,Baihui,Sishencong,Sanyinjiao,Neiguan,Shenting(DU24),Yintang(EX-HN3),Taixi(KI3),Shenmai(BL62),Shuigou(DU26)are the core acupoints for treatment of post-stroke insomnia. Conclusion:The acupoints selected for treating post-stroke insomnia are mainly distributed in the head and neck, lower limbs and upper limbs. The distal-proximal acupoints combination method found in this study are often used as the basis of acupoint selection. In clinical practice, attention is paid to regulating Qi(气)and mind,as well as treating the symptoms and root causes.
