A review on treating climacteric syndrome with TCM medicine
Menopausal syndrome is a common disease in women before and after menopause.Its main symptoms include menstrual disorders,irritability,hot flashes,sweating,insomnia,anxiety,depression,etc..These symptoms can affect the physical and mental health of patients,and bring inconvenience and pain to their daily life and work.With the improvement of medical technology and health care awareness,women's attention to their own health is gradually improving.More and more women have begun to pay attention to their own physical and mental health,and actively take measures to prevent and treat menopausal syndrome.TCM medicine has rich experience in treating menopausal syndrome.TCM believes that the root of this disease is in the kidneys,which often affects many organs such as the heart,liver,and spleen,resulting in complicated symptoms of the disease.Therefore,this disease requires individualized treatment based on syndrome differentiation.The advantage of TCM medicine in treating menopausal syndrome is that TCM medicine can not only regulate the balance of Yin(阴)and Yang(阳)in the human body,activate the body's own regulation mechanism,and alleviate symptoms,but also has good long-term efficacy and the effect of preventing recurrence.Therefore,TCM medicine has received more and more attention and recognition.Based on the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment progress of menopausal syndrome,combined with modern experimental research,the current situation and experience of treating menopausal syndrome in TCM medicine was reviewed in this paper.In this paper,the theoretical basis and clinical practice of TCM medicine in the treatment of menopausal syndrome was elaborated,including TCM medicinal materials,medicinal diet,acupuncture,and other TCM medicine treatment methods,and the experience of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of menopausal syndrome in women was summarized,providing a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of this disease,and also providing a reference for the application of TCM medicine in the treatment of gynecological diseases.
