Clinical observation on the Danteng Tongmai prescription on peripheral neuropathy of type 2 diabetes mellitus
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of the Danteng Tongmai prescription(丹藤通脉方)in the treatment of type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods:A total of 60 patients with type 2 DPN hospitalized in the Endocrinology Department of Xuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected, and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with basic treatment combined with mecobalamin, and the observation group was treated with the Danteng Tongmai prescription on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The treatment period was 12 weeks, and the curative effects in the two groups were compared. Results:Comparison between groups after treatment, the total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).TCSS was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of GLU,2 h PG and HbA1 c were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of TC,TG and LDL were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).SNCV and MNCV of right peroneal nerve and median nerve were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the levels of TCSS,GLU,2 h PG,HbA1 c,TC,TG and LDL in the observation group and the control group after treatment were decreased(P<0.05),and the MNCV and SNCV of the right peroneal nerve and median nerve were increased(P<0.05).Conclusion:The Danteng Tongmai prescription is effective and safe in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, which is worthy of further promotion.
