An analysis of the effect of Lishi Jianpi Quyu decoction plus Western medicine on oral lichen planus and serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 levels
Objective:To analyze the effect of Westem medicine plus Lishi Jianpi Quyu decoction(利湿健脾祛瘀汤)on oral lichen planus and its effect on tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-8(IL-8)of patients.Methods:A total of 84 patients with oral lichen planuss treated in Department of Stomatology,Qingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to May 2021 were selected and divided into the observation group the control group by random number table method,with 42 patients in each group.The patients in the control group received conventional Westem medicine treatment,and patients in the observation group were treated with Lishi Jianpi Quyu decoction on the basis of Western medicine treatment.The clinical efficacy,symptom severity[(Reticulation-erosion-ulcer,REU)score],discomfort[visual analogue scale(VAS)]and seruim inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:Compared with the control group,the effect in the observation group was significantly higher(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in REU score,VAS score,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 and other indexes between the observation group and the control group(P＞0.05).After 1 month of treatment,compared with those in the control group,REU score,VAS score,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 and other indexes in the observation group were significantly lower,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Lishi Jianpi Quyu decoction can get a good effect in treating patients with oral lichen planus on the basis of Westem medicine treatment.It can effectively relieve the lesions,reduce the degree of discomfort and inflammatory damage of patients,and also effectively reduce the degree of pain.Compared with conventional treatment measures,it can promote the rehabilitation after treatment,and has a high clinical promotion value.
