An analysis of Professor WANG Mengqing's medication rule in treating childhood asthma during the remission period based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System
Objective:To analyze the 149 prescriptions of Professor WANG Mengqing in treating childhood asthma during the remission period based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),and summarize the medication rule of Professor WANG Mengqing in the treatment of childhood asthma during the remission period,in order to provide clinical reference.Methods:Effective medical records of asthma remission period treated by Professor WANG Mengqing at the Pediatric Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to June 2023 were collected.Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System was used to statistically analyze the use frequency of drugs,commonly used drug combinations,medical properties and tastes,core drug combinations,and new prescriptions.Results:A total of 149 prescriptions were included,involving 97 traditional Chinese medicines.The top 10 were Baizhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae),Fuling(Poria),Shanyao(Rhizoma Dioscoreae),Taizishen(Radix Pseudostellariae),Huangqi(Radix Astragali),Fangfeng(Radix Saposhnikoviae),Maidong(Radix Ophiopogoni),Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Jineijin(Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli),and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis),and there were 22 drugs with a use frequency of greater than 30 times.Warm drugs were used most frequently,followed by calmness and coldness.The most frequently used medicinal taste is sweet,followed by bitter and spicy.The top four meridians for medication were the lung meridian,spleen meridian,stomach meridian,and kidney meridian.There were 40 pairs of commonly used drug combinations,including Maidong,Taizishen,Baizhu,Shanyao,Fuling,Huangqi,Huangqin and Fangfeng,Huangqi and Baizhu showed the highest frequency.Three new prescriptions were obtained:① Huangjing(Rhizoma Polygonati),Fabanxia(Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparatum),Gancao,Chenpi(Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae),Shudihuang(Radix Rehmanniae Preparata).② Fabanxia,Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Gancao,Chenpi,Shudihuang.③ Fuling,Shengdihuang(Radix Rehmaniae Recens),Taizishen,Mahuanggen(Radix Ephedrae),Fuxiaomai(Fructus Tritici Levis).Conclusion:Professor WANG's prescriptions for treating children asthma in the remission stage is in line with the principle of treating the lungs,spleen,and kidneys simultaneously,comprehensively considering the needs of the body,and strengthening the foundation.
