An analysis of treating primary liver cancer with the Bushen Huatan prescription
Primary liver cancer is a serious threat to our people's life and health.Although the number of hepatitis B patients has decreased significantly with the universal promotion of hepatitis B vaccine,the incidence of primary liver cancer in China is still very high due to the huge population base of hepatitis B patients.Once primary liver cancer is diagnosed,the overall prognosis is still poor.In recent years,with the deepening of theoretical research and the extensive development of experimental research,Western medicine has made great progress in the treatment of primary liver cancer.In recent years,with the rapid development of transvascular interventional therapy,local ablation therapy and target-immunotherapy in the treatment of liver cancer,the survival time and quality of life of patients with liver cancer have been greatly improved.Traditional Chinese medicine is a very important part of the comprehensive treatment of liver cancer.For those patients who refuse to receive Western medicine,the use of TCM alone can significantly relieve symptoms and prolong survival.Western medicine plus appropriate TCM treatment can achieve significant effects of reduction in the toxicity and increase in clinical efficacy of Western medicine.The author's team has been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors for a long time,and has conducted long-term observation and accumulation of the integrated treatment of liver cancer in TCM and Western medicine,extensively consulted ancient and modern literature,and repeatedly communicated with experts inside and outside the hospital.Through the analysis and improvement of the classic prescription Biejiajian Wan(鳖甲煎丸),the author gradually formulated the Bushen Huatan prescription(补肾化痰方),which is taken as the basic prescription.Combined with different clinical syndromes,the treatment method has achieved a certain effect,showing a certain clinical promotion value.Now several typical cases are reported and shared,and theoretical discussion is carried out to provide references for subsequent experimental research and even clinical research.
