Discussion on the mechanism of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription on hypothyroidism based on network pharmacology
Objective:To explore the mechanism of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription(益气化痰活血方)on hypothyroidism based on network pharmacology.Methods:The active ingredients of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription were screened out by TCMSP,Chemical Professional Database,HERB,and the potential targets of active ingredients were predicted by SwissTargetPrediction database.GeneCards database,DisGeNET database and OMIM database were retrieue to search for the related targets of hypothyroidism.By STRING database,the protein-protein interaction network of the intersection target of drugs and diseases was constructed to obtain the key target of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription for treating hypothyroidism.KEGG signal pathway and GO function enrichment analyses of key targets were performed by Metascape.Results:A total of 46 active ingredients,266 drug targets,and 1 294 targets for hypothyroidism were obtained,ultimately resulting in 69 key targets and 2 KEGG pathways.The main component of the recipe were quercetin,β-sitosterol,kaempferol,and other key targets were IL-6,IL-10,TNF,PKB,VEGFA.The key pathways might include PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway and so on.Conclusion:The mechanism of multi-component,multi-target and multi-pathway of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription on hypothyroidism was initially revealed in this study,which provided a basis for the clinical development and utilization of the Yiqi Huatan Huoxue prescription.
