The action mechanism of treating psoriasis with Banzhilian-Baihuashe She Cao based on network pharmacology
Objective:To investigate the active components,action targets,and related pathways and other action mechanisms of Banzhilian(Herba Sedi Sarmentosi)-Baihua Sheshe Cao(Herba Hedyoti Diffusae)in the treatment of psoriasis through network pharmacology.Methods:The active components and corresponding targets of Banzhilian and Baihuashe She Cao were obtained by searching the literature in TCMSP database,and the corresponding gene names were converted by UniProt.GeneCards and TTD database were used for data integration and deduplication to obtain the final psoriasis disease targets.Cytoscape 3.9.1 was used to construct a network diagram of Banzhilian-Baihuashe She Cao-active ingredient-action target,and Venny 2.1.0 was used to obtain the intersection targets of Banzhilian-Baihuashe She Cao and psoriasis.PPI network diagram was constructed by STRING,and the results of GO functional analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were obtained from the DAVID database.AutoDock 1.5.6 software was used for molecular docking analysis.Results:The results of the study showed that Banzhilian-Baihuashe She Cao played a therapeutic role on psoriasis through important active ingredients such as quercetin,luteolin acting on AKT1,TP53,TNF,IL-6,VEGFA and other key targets.The main pathways involved in the treatment of psoriasis included 156 KEGG pathways such as cancer pathway,lipid and atherosclerosis pathway,and advanced glycation end product-advanced glycation end product receptor signaling pathway in diabetic complications.The results of molecular docking showed that the main active components had good binding activity with the core target protein.Conclusion:Banzhilian-Baihuashe She Cao can treat psoriasis through multiple components,targets,and pathways,and its action mechanism is related to aspects such as inhibition of inflammatory response.
