Visual analysis of treating peripheral facial paralysis by acupuncture based on CiteSpace(2012-2022)
Objective:To analyse the research results in the field of peripheral facial palsy treated by acupuncture in the past decade using visual knowledge mapping,to analyse the current status of research and cutting-edge trends,and to provide a reference for future research in this field.Methods:The literature related to acupuncture for peripheral facial palsy in the China Knowledge Network(CNKI)database was used as the study object,and the CiteSpace software was used to visualize and analyze the number of articles,authors,institutions and keywords in this field.Results:A total of 2 031 articles were included.The included studies involved 273 journals and 39 universities,with a small number of individual author publications but a high quality of publications overall.A total of 396 authors were included,and there were 48 authors who have published at least three articles.The highest number of articles is nine,written by LIU Li'an.There was close cooperation within the team,but inter-team cooperation needs to be strengthened.Twenty-four of the 314 research institutions included issued at least 5 articles,with Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine issuing the most articles.The research institutions were mainly traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities,which cooperated closely with their affiliated hospitals.The keyword"acupuncture"was the most frequent(236)and had the highest centrality(0.22),the largest emergence intensity is"wind-cold syndrome"(6.36).Conclusion:It is a research trend in this field to look for acupuncture intervention methods with low pain intensity and highly correlated objective outcome indicators.
