Clinical significance of the long term vision injury blood theory——Research on the menstrual changes of female college students during the epidemic period
Objective:In order to investigate the relationship between menstruation and"excessive eye use"of female college students through investigation of the menstrual status of female college students during the epidemic period in a medical university in Shandong and their use of electronic equipment to participate in online courses and other learning and living habits,for providing references of health education for female college students,prevention and treatment of menstrual diseases,and expounding the theory of long term vision injury blood in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:From July to September 2020,a self-compiled questionnaire was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on female students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine and nursing at a medical university in Shandong.Results:A total of 1 000 questionnaires were distributed,and 950 valid questionnaires were returned,and the effective questionnaire recovery rate was 95.0％(950/1 000).Among the 950 college girls,there were 404 cases with abnormal menstrual changes from February to June 2020(focus on menstrual period,menstrual cycle,menstrual volume,menstrual color),accounting for 42.5％(404/950).The number of people with reduced menstrual flow is the largest,for 30.63％(291/950),followed by menstrual color,for 17.37％(165/950).The number of people with menstrual cycles and menstrual periods changes is relatively small,long-term online learning,long-term average daily use of electronic equipment,and the use of electronic equipment more at home,staying up late and staying up at home aggravated,the above 5 factors all have a significant impact on irregular menstruation(P＜0.05).Conclusion:During the epidemic period,female college students'menstrual changes are significantly correlated with the long-term use of electronic equipment,the use of electronic equipment longer than the time at school,and the long-term use of electronic equipment for online learning,which reflects the long-term use of eyes is harmful to blood of traditional Chinese medicine.The theory has certain guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of menstrual disorders in female college students.
