A review on the TCM treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura
Henoch-Schonlein purpura is a kind of allergic small vasculitis that often invades the microvessels and posterior veins of skin or other organs.It is often included in the category of"blood syndrome","muscle bleeding","macular rash","purpura"and other.diseases in traditional Chinese medicine.The paper mainly discusses the disease form the origin of TCM disease name,etiology and pathogenesis,TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of integrated TCM and Western medicine and so on.Through combing and sorting out the related literature,it is found that the main understanding of the pathogenesis of this disease is wind,heat,dampness,poison,blood stasis and deficiency.In the process of syndrome differentiation and treatment,the disease is treated flexibly according to the characteristics of different types and stages,and reasonable changes are made according to different conditions while paying attention to both strengthening healthy Qi(气)and dispelling evil.Although different doctors use different stages in staging treatment,the idea of strengthening healthy Qi is put in a more important position in the process of treatment,and attention is paid to the rise and fall of patients'vital Qi during treatment.In addition,based on syndrome differentiation,the classical theory is used to find a new way to treat the disease from the classical theory,and continues to practice in clinic under the guidance of the classical theory of traditional Chinese medicine.In the study of integrated TCM and western medicine,it is found that integrat-ed TCM and Western medicine has a better clinical effect,which can also reduce the recurrence rate and adverse reactions.This paper sorts out the research on the treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura in traditional Chinese medicine,combes the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease,and then further discusses the latest research progress,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment and integrated TCM and Western medi-cine treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura,the relevant research results and clinical diagnosis and treatment experience of Henoch-Schonlein purpura are summarized,with a prospect of providing some ideas for clinical treatment of this disease.
