Effects of Tongfu Zhuyu mixture combined with acupoint application on recovery after laparoscopic appendectomy
Objective:To observe the effect of Tongfu Zhuyu mixture(通腑逐瘀合剂)combined with acupoint application of TCM appro-priate technique on the postoperative recovery of patients undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy.Methods:A total total of 60 patients undergoing lapaaroscopic uappendectomy admitted to the Department of External Medicine,Liaocheng Hospital of Traditional of Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,including postoperative fasting,conventional antibiotic anti-infection treatment,rehydration nutrition and other symptomatic support treatments,the observation group received oral administration of Tongfu Zhuyu mixture combined with acupoint application on the basis of conventional treatment.After 3 days of treatment,the differences of postoperative indicators between the two groups were observed,including the time of first anal exhaust,the time of first defecation,the number of days in hospital after surgery,and the occurrence of postoperative complications.Results:The first anal exhaust time and defecation time in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group,the difference was statisti-cally significant(P＜0.05).The days of hospitalization in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:TCM Tongfu Zhuyu mixture combined with TCM appropriate technique acupoint application can significantly promote the recovery after laparoscopic appendectomy,which can promote the recovery of intestinal function,shorten the hospital stay,promote postoperative rehabilitation,and effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.The clinical efficacy and safety are good,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
