Discussion on Professor JI Laixi's experience in treating cervical headache by intermuscular needling the suboccipital muscles based on the theory of meridian tendon
The diagnosis and treatment ideas and operation points of Professor JI Laixi's acupotomization of suboccipital muscle group in the treatment of neck headache based on the theory of meridian tendons is summarized in this paper.Professor Jl Laixi believes that neck headache"pain in the head but the disease in the neck",because of the high tension of the cervical occipital muscle group caused by neck biomechanical imbalance.Based on the theory of meridian tendons,Professor JI Laixi proposed the diagnosis and treatment plan of dividing the suboccipital muscle group by needle-knife,and treating it from a holistic perspective to relieve the hypertension of muscle group and restore the normal physiological function of neurovascular and tissue metabolism.The purpose of this paper is to explain the theoretical basis and diagnosis and treatment experience of acupotomization of suboccipital muscle group in the treatment of neck headache,and to provide systematic and standardized diagnosis and treatment plan for the treatment of neck headache by acupuncture with typical medical records.
