Exploration on the medication rules of Professor GAO Tianshu in the treatment of hyperthyroidism based on data mining
Objective:Based on the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system software(TCMISS)of version 2.5,the medication composition rules of Professor GAO Tianshu in treating hyperthyroidism was explored to inherit Professor GAO Tianshu's clinical experience in treating hyperthyroidism.Methods:Professor GAO Tianshu's medication prescriptions for treating hyperthyroidism from May 2022 to June 2023 were organized and were input into TCMISS.Statistical methods such as association rules,cluster analysis were used to analyze the medication patterns of the compiled prescription drugs.Results:A total of 120 prescriptions were collected,involving 174 traditional Chinese medicines.The medicinal properties are mainly cold,and the medicinal flavors are mostly sweet and bitter.The main meridian is liver meridian.The top ten frequently used Chinese medicines are Haizao(Sargassum),Kunbu(Thallus Laminariae Thallus Eckloniae),Muli(Concha Ostreae),Zhebeimu(Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii),Xiakucao(Spica Prunellae),Baihuasheshecao(Herba Hedyoti Diffusae),Xuanshen(Radix Scrophulariae),Baihe(Bulbus Lilii),Shengdihuang(Radix Rehmanniae),Zhimu(Rhizoma Anemarrhenae).The core prescriptions are composed of Haizao,Kunbu,Muli,Zhebeimu,Xiakucao and Baihuasheshecao,forming 11 potential new prescriptions.Conclusion:Professor GAO Tianshu believes that the fundamental pathogenesis of hyperthyroidism is Yin(阴)deficiency and excessive fire,with phlegm and Qi(气)intertwined.The treatment mainly focuses on nourishing Yin,reducing fire,and dispersing nodules,flexibly using iodine rich traditional Chinese medicine.According to the individual constitution of the patient,both attack and supplement were used to relieve clinical symptoms to suppress hyperthyroidism.
