An analysis of the medication rule of treating immunoglobulin A nephropathy by Professor SHENG Meixiao based on data mining
Objective:To analyze the medication rule,therapeutic principle and method in the treatment of IgAN by Professor SHENG Meixiao by data mining.Methods:A total of 289 prescriptions from Professor SHENG Meixiao for treating IgAN were collected and sorted out to perform frequency of usage of commonly used Chinese medicinal materials.The prescription medication rule was analyzed based on association rules,and the core drug combination was extracted by complex network analysis.Results:A total of 179 Chinese medicinal materials were included in 289 prescriptions,and 30 Chinese medicinal materials were used more than 52 times,including Shiwei(Folium Pyrrosiae),Huangqi(Radix Astragali),Sangjisheng(Herba Taxilli),Tengligen(Rattan pear root),Xuduan(Radix Dipsaci),Baizhu(Atractylodis Macrocephalae),Jiangcan(Bombyx Batryticatus),Baiying(Solanum lyratum Thunb),etc.Among them,Shiwei and Huangqi were used the most frequently,more than 75 times.The main Chinese medicinal materials were sweet and warm medicines,accounting for 35.46％and 31.14％,respectively.Qi(气)-tonifying drugs were used most frequently,up to 678 times,followed by inducing diuresis for removing edema medicines,clearing heat and removing toxicity medicines,dispelling dampness and stranguria medicines,and cooling blood or stopping bleeding medicines.According to the analysis of prescription rules based on association rules,the commonly used mated drug combinations were Xuduan-Sangjisheng,Huangqi-Sangjisheng,and Huangqi-Shiwei,the triangular drug combinations included Huangqi-Xuduan-Sangjisheng,Sangjisheng-Shiwei-Xuduan,Huangqi-Shiwei-Sangjisheng.Using complex network analysis,the execution degree was set to 0.98,and three groups of core prescriptions were obtained.When the node degree value was 20,it was concluded that the basic prescription for IgAN was composed of Huangqi,Baizhu,Sangjisheng,Xuduan,Shiwei,Tengligen,and Jiangcan.Conclusion:The pathogenesis of IgAN is characterized by deficient root and excessive superficiality.Deficient root is mainly due to deficiency of both Qi and Yin(阴)of spleen and kidney,with damp-heat and blood stasis as the excessive superficiality.The treatment should be clarifing the superficial symptoms and root causes,strengthening the body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors simultaneously,nourishing the lung and strengthening the body,and invigorating the spleen and tonifing the kidney to cultivate the root,accompanied by dispelling wind and dampness,and clearing dysentery and promoting blood circulation to treat the superficial symptoms.
