In recent years, the incidence of infertility has been rising in China, which has troubled many women of childbearing age and their families. There are many causes of infertility, among which tubal lesions account for 30%.Tubal infertility refers to the infertility caused by various factors, such as tubal obstruction, hydronephrosis, salpingitis and other tubal lesions, which is a frequent and common disease inclinical practice, and also belongs to the category of"infertility"in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).At present, western medicine mostly uses tubal fluid drainage, uterine and laparoscopic combined exploration and other surgical methods to treat this disease.Although it has been effective, there are some problems such as high recurrence rate of adhesions and ectopic pregnancy. While TCM treatment of tubal infertility attaches great importance to the holistic concept and treatment based on syndrome differentiation, which has achieved good clinical effect,it can effectively improve the pregnancy rate, avoid the limitations of Western surgical treatment, and is worthy of in-depth research and learning. The author consults the relevant literature in recent years, and makes a review on the research status and progress of TCM in the treatment of tubal infertility from the aspects of internal treatment, external treatment, internal and external combined treatment, etc. The existing studies have confirmed the unique advantages and good prognosis of TCM in the treatment of tubal infertility, and it is widely used in clinical practice. However, the syndrome differentiation of this disease is mainly based on the summary of clinical experience of doctors, and there is a lack of relevant standards, and the specific operation process of external treatment of TCM needs to be standardized, and its mechanism needs to be clarified. In addition, the research and thinking about this disease, explaining the occurrence and development of prevention of this disease from the perspective of"preventive treatment of disease"is also worth discussing,so as to provide ideas and references for future clinical treatment of this disease and related research.
