Professor YU Jingsheng's experience in treating myopia in children from spleen-stomach
Myopia will have a serious impact on children's life, learning, physical and mental health.Due to the low age of myopia in children, without timely and effective intervention,it is likely to develop into high myopia, which can also cause glaucoma, retinal detachment, maculopathy and other serious eye diseases, which will bring a heavy burden to the family and society.Currently, clinical intervention measures for children myopia are relatively scarce, and the existing therapeutic methods are not ideal. Therefore,it is of great clinical significance to find safe and effective drugs to treat children's myopia. For more than 40 years,Professor YU Jingsheng has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of children's myopia. In long-term clinical practice,Professor YU Jingsheng has observed a large number of children's myopia cases and found that most children with myopia have the syndrome of spleen-stomach weakness, which affects the occurrence and development of children's myopia.Based on this finding,Professor YU Jingsheng believed that the weakness of spleen-stomach played an important role in the pathogenesis of myopia in children, and thus proposed to treat myopia in children by regulating the function of spleen-stomach.In the specific treatment, the treatment is mainly to replenish Qi,strengthen the spleen and brighten the eyes, and the self-made myopia No.1 formula is to treat children's myopia according to syndrome differentiation. In addition,Professor YU also advocated the combination of internal and external treatment, prevention and treatment at the same time,to achieve the therapeutic effect on children's myopia.Professor YU's method has been applied in clinical practice and achieved remarkable curative effects. This paper focuses on the relationship between the spleen and stomach and myopia in children, aiming to clarify the role and importance of the spleen and stomach in the formation and development of myopia,in order to provide new ideas for clinical prevention and treatment of myopia in children. An empirical case is attached for support.
