An analysis of the daily running rhythm of the essential Qi of the five internal organs
Huangdi Neijing(《黄帝内经》)recorded a large number of time laws closely related to the activities of nature and Qi(气)and blood, which have been imperceptibly affecting the physiological and pathological activities of the human body.By summarizing and analyzing the relevant content in the Huangdi Neijing, which is the circadian rhythm of the five internal organs to produce diseases,we can deduce the time rhythm of the decline and prosperity of the five internal organs within the day and night. This rhythm is fully combined with the relationship of the five elements, revealing the time pattern of"birth, growth, prosperity, decline and disappearance"of the vital energy of internal organs within day and night.By understanding the above time rhythm,it can provide a more reliable basis for better elaboration and understanding of the physiological and pathological phenomena of the human body, more flexible in distinguishing the temporal and spatial applicability of the"six meridians disease rhythms"and"the Qi flow of the internal organs in a day",and fast and accurate in determining the location and mechanism of diseases.
