A visualization analysis of treating osteoarthritis disease with the Duhuo Jisheng decoction based on CiteSpace
Objective:To visualize and analyze the relevant literature on the treatment of osteoarthritis(OA)with the Duhuo Jisheng decoction(独活寄生汤)by means of CiteSpace,so as to understand the research status,research hotspots,authors,research institutions in this field and predict its future development tendency.Methods:Literature about treating OA with the Duhuo Jisheng decoction was retrieved from CNKI since January 1,2000 to December 31,2022.The Excel software was used to count the annual publication volume and major journals of the Duhuo Jisheng decoction in the treatment of OA.CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software was used to build knowledge graphs of author cooperation network and institution cooperation network,and form a keyword cluster graph.Results:The number of studies on the treatment of OA with the Duhuo Jisheng decoction showed a fluctuating upward trend.The major research institutions headed by the Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were conducting relevant research,forming a closely-cooperative research team represented by LI Xihai,ZHENG Chunsong,WU Guangwen and CHEN Shaoqing.The study was widely published in traditional Chinese medicine and the integrative medicine journals.The co-occurrence of keywords showed that the frequency of OA was the highest,and 13 tags were formed by cluster analysis,involving three aspects:clinical research types,different types of OA,and mechanism of action.The researches focus on acupuncture,inflammatory factors and clinical efficacy.The action mechanism of the Duhuo Jisheng decoction on OA is mainly concentrated in inhibiting inflammatory factors and cell apoptosis,promoting chondrocyte proliferation,inhibiting cartilage matrix degradation,oxidative stress,and other pathways.Conclusion:The research trend of the Duhuo Jisheng decoction in the treatment of OA shows that its scope of clinical application is gradually expanding,the research content is gradually developing towards the direction of its action mechanism and action targets.However,there is still a lack of in-depth high-quality clinical trials and close interdisciplinary and inter-institutional cooperation.
