A visual analysis of treating lumbar disc herniation by external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in recent 20 years in China
Objective:The purpose of this study is to use CiteSpace software to investigate the current situation of treating lumbar disc herniation(LDH)by traditional Chinese medicine external treatment in China in recent 20 years,and to explore its collaborative network,research hotspots,and research frontiers.Methods:The studies published on Chinese core journals of treating LDH by external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine from 2003 to 2022 were searched on CNKI.The Note Express software was used for the statistical analysis of the number of journal papers.CiteSpace 6.2.R1 software was used to analyze the number,authors and institutions of the included literature.The keywords were clustered and analyzed.The visualization knowledge graph was drawn.Results:A total of 533 articles were included,with about 27 annual articles.In recent years,there were a few high-quality studies published on core journals.The core journal with the highest number of articles was Chinese Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion(98 studies),and the journal with the highest comprehensive impact factor was Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine(1.062).There were 537 authors included in this study,with a total of 22 core authors,and the first authors were XIANG Kewei(7 articles)and FU Yong(7 articles).In recent years,the author cooperation group had formed a group mainly represented by FANG Min and KONG Lingjun.A total of 406 institutions were included in this study.Yueyang Hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine Affiliated to Shanghai University of traditional Chinese medicine ranked first in the number of articles(14 articles).In recent years,an institutional cooperation group centered on Yueyang Hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine Affiliated to Shanghai University of traditional Chinese medicine has been formed.The Massage Research Institute of Shanghai Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine has great influence in similar studies.In this study,10 keyword clusters and 12 highlight keywords were obtained.The keyword with high frequency and high centrality was massage.Keyword clustering formed 10 clusters.#1 massage is the largest cluster.Conclusion:In recent 20 years,several stable academic research teams have been formed in the treatment of LDH by external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,but the core author group in this field has not yet formed in China.The common methods of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of LDH are massage,needle knife,electroacupuncture,hot compress of traditional Chinese medicine,etc..The commonly used acupoints are Jiaji points(EX-B2)and Huantiao points(GB30).External treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for treating LDH can restore postoperative lumbar function.Various external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine for promoting the recovery of lumbar function has become a research hotspot in recent years.
