Discussion on the pathogenesis of diabetes nephropathy from the perspective of wind toxin-throat-kidney collaterals
Diabetes nephropathy, which is called Xiaoke nephropathy(消渴肾病)in traditional Chinese medicine,is a common chronic microvascular complication of diabetes and an important cause of end-stage renal disease. It is reported that the number of patients with diabetes plus diabetes nephropathy has gradually increased in recent years. There are many Western medicine treatments, and the short-term curative effect is remarkable, but there are also certain risks in the long-term use of Western medicine treatment, and the curative effect of some patients is not good.Traditional Chinese medicine shows its advantages in the treatment of diabetes nephropathy, which can not only relieve the discomfort of patients, but also reverse the excretion of proteinuria in the early stage of the disease.HE Ze,a chief physician, has rich clinical experience. He believes that there is a correlation between toxin, throat, kidney collaterals and diabetes nephropathy. This article focuses on the physiological functions of the above three, discusses the physiological and pathological links between wind toxin and kidney collaterals, throat and kidney collaterals, and discusses the pathogenesis of diabetes nephropathy based on the theory of"toxic damage to kidney collaterals"and"correlation between throat and kidney",and believes that wind toxin is the initiating factor of diabetes nephropathy, and the throat is the hub of diabetes nephropathy. In terms of prescription and medication, based on the theory of"toxic damage to kidney collaterals",the method of detoxification and dredging collaterals can be adopted.Based on the theory of"correlation between throat and kidney",the method of dispelling wind and benefiting the throat can be adopted. The combination of the four methods can relieve the diseases caused by phlegm, turbidity and stasis in the kidney collaterals. This paper introduces the treatment of diabetes nephropathy from wind toxin-throat-kidney collaterals combined with one case,in order to provide reference for clinical practice.
