Clinical efficacy of modified Guishen Wan plus auricular point bean pressure in the treatment of diminished ovarian reserve
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of modified Guishen Wan(加味归肾丸)plus auricular point bean pressure on dimin-ished ovarian reserve(DOR)of the kidney deficiency syndrome.Methods:A total of 80 patients aged between 25 and 39 years old who were diagnosed as DOR of the kidney deficiency syndrome were selected from the Gynecological Clinic of Guilin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2021 to November 2022.On the 5th day of menstruation,modified Guishen Wan was taken orally and combined with auricular point bean pressure(endocrine,heart,liver,kidney,sympathetic,subcortical,spleen,ovary,uterus).After 3 menstrual cycles,self-before and after control study was carried out.The levels of serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)and serum anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)and bilateral antral follicle(AFC)of patients with DOR of the kidney deficiency syndrome were compared before and after treatment.The clinical symptoms and signs of the patients before treatment and after 3 menstrual cycles were recorded and scored,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Results:After 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,the clinical symptom score of 80 patients with DOR of the kidney deficiency syndrome was decreased significantly(P＜0.01),the overall effective rate was 91.25％(73/80),and the level of FSH was effectively improved(P＜0.01).AMH level and AFC were increased(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Modified Guishen Wan plus auricular point bean pressure has significant therapeutic effects on DOR,which can effectively improve the levels of serum FSH and AMH,pro-mote the development of ovarian sinus follicles,increase AFC,relieve menstrual disorders and clinical symptoms,promote fertility and improve quality of life,which is worthy of further application and research in the clinical practice.
