An analysis of the medication rule of Chinese patent drugs containing Guizhi in national standard for Chinese patent drugs
Objective:The medication rule of TCM prescriptions containing Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi)in the national standard for Chinese patent drugs was analyzed in this paper.Methods:By Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),a prescription database was constructed by screening the prescription that met the requirements.Through data mining,the main treatment diseases,TCM syndromes,and compatibility features of prescriptions containing Guizhi were analyzed for in-depth analyses of medicine combination of high-frequency medicine pairs,high-frequency diseases and high-frequency syndromes.Results:There were 70 kinds of diseases were treated by the prescriptions containing Guizhi after the analysis of 170 prescriptions,among which Bi(痹)syndrome,bruises and colds were the main diseases.There were 55 kinds of syndrome types,mainly wind-cold-dampness stagnation of sinews and bones,injuries to sinews and bones,and wind-cold fettering the exterior.The high-frequency medicines used in combination with Guizhi were Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Fangfeng(Radix Saposhnikoviae),Mahuang(Herba Ephedrae),Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong),etc..There were 15 commonly used medicine pairs,and the most frequent medicine pair was Gancao-Guizhi,followed by Danggui-Guizhi.Through vertical and horizontal comparisons,it was concluded that Guizhi was often used in combination with tonifying blood and promoting blood circulation medicines,dispersing wind-cold medicines,and eliminating wind-dampness medicines.The prescriptions for treating By syndrome and colds were the addition or subtractions of the Duhuo Jisheng decoction(独活寄生汤)and the Mahuang decoction(麻黄汤),respectively.Conclusion:Guizhi has a variety of effects and functions,and can be combined with different medicines to treat a variety of diseases,among which couplet medicines Gancao-Guizhi are very effective in the treatment of heart diseases.In the treatment of different diseases,Guizhi can be combined with different medicines to gain different effects.In the treatment of different syndromes,there are some similarities or differences in the medicine compatibility of Guizhi.Reasonable compatibility of Guizhi can optimize the combination,play an integrated role,so as to improve the clinical efficacy.
