The correlation between the pathogenesis of spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness and insulin resistance in the process of prediabetes plus hyperuricemia
Both prediabetes and hyperuricemia are metabolic diseases.Prediabetes plus hyperuiricemia can greatly increase the incidence rates of diabetes and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Insulin resistance is an important pathogenesis.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine theory,this disease can be classified as rich food turbidity disease,and the early pathogenesis is mainly spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness.Based on this,this paper discusses the correlation between the mechanism of insulin resistance and the pathogenesis of spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness in the pathogenesis of prediabetes plus hyperuricemia in traditional Chinese medicine,and comprehensively analyzes the interaction between spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness and insulin resistance from the aspects of microscopic pathology and pathogenesis changes.On the one hand,insulin resistance is a microscopic pathological manifestation of spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness,and can be seen as a manifestation of the obstruction of phlegm dampness;On the other hand,the clinical TCM syndromes of the patients with prediabetes of the spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness type plus hyperuricemia in the early stage of diabetes are similar to the external symptoms caused by insulin resistance,and the pathogenic factors of phlegm dampness easily lead to obesity,dizziness,and diabetes,which are also similar to the symptoms caused by insulin resistance.The method of invigorating spleen,removing phlegm and promoting dampness can ameliorate insulin resistance,decrease blood glucose and blood uric acid levels,and has therapeutic effects on hyperuricemia plus prediabetes.Based on the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment,this article combines the mechanism of the etiology and pathogenesis in traditional Chinese medicine with the research mechanism in Western medicine,and expounds the relevant clinical basis of treating this disease by the method of invigorating spleen,removing phlegm and promoting dampness.The clinical efficacy of this method is durable with high safety,and it is expected to bring certain enlightenment to the clinical prevention and treatment of this disease and related research.
