Effects of enema with the Jianpi Liqi decoction plus warm acupuncture on gastrointestinal hormones,nutritional status and immune function in patients after radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer
Objective:To probe the effects of enema with the Jianpi Liqi decoction(健 脾理气 汤)plus warm acupuncture on gastrointestinal hormone,nutritional status and immune function in postoperative patients with gastric cancer.Methods:A retrospective analysis was made on 126 cases of gastric cancer from February 2021 to March 2023,which were divided into the combined group(50 cases),the acupuncture group(40 cases)and the routine group(36 cases).The patients in the routine group received intramuscular injection of metoclopramide dihydrochloride injection,the acupuncture group received warm acupuncture on the basis of the treatment in the routine group,and the combined group received enema with the Jianpi Liqi decoction plus warm acupuncture on the basis of the treatment in the routine group.The treatment course in the three groups was 2 weeks.The clinical effects in 3 groups were compared.Before and after the treatment,the levels of gastrointestinal hormones[motilin(MTL),gastrin(GAS)and somatostatin(SS)],TCM symptom scores,immune function indexes[immunoglobulin A(IgA),IgG,IgM and other indicators were observed.Results:The total effective rate was 92.00％(46/50)in the combined group and 85.00％(34/40)in the acupuncture group,but only 75.00％(27/36)in the routine group.After treatment,the levels of MTL,GAS and SS in the combined group were significantly lower than the acupuncture group and the routine group(P＜0.05).The combined group showed significantly lower TCM symptom scores than the acupuncture group and the routine group(P＜0.05).The levels of IgA,IgG and IgM in the combined group were significantly higher than the acupuncture group and the routine group(P＜0.05).The level of Hb,PAB and TP in the combined group was significantly higher than the acupuncture group and the routine group.And the level of TRF was significantly lower than the acupuncture group and the routine group(P＜0.05).The adverse reactions among three goups did not show significant differences(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Enema with the Jianpi Liqi decoction plus warm acupuncture can effectively improve the level of gastrointestinal hormone and nutritional status,promote the recovery of immune function,with high safety and clinical values.
