The medication rule of the Fufeng theory in treating childhood diseases based on data mining
Objective:To apply data mining technology to study the specific medication rules for the treatment of childhood diseases under the guidance of Fufeng(伏风)theory, providing more clinical ideas for further research on treating childhood diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:With pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine,Fufeng theory and Chinese medicine as keywords,CNKI,Wanfang,Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index and VIP databases were searched to select the prescriptions related to Fufeng theory published from 2009 to 2023 to create a database. Then Excel 2021,SPSS Modeler 18 and SPSS 26.0 were used to analyze the used frequency, medicinal property and taste and meridian affinity analyses, association rule analysis and cluster analysis of the included TCM prescriptions. Results:A total of 194 Chinese herbs were selected from 100 TCM prescriptions.Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Fangfeng(Radix Saposhnikoviae),Mahuang(Herba Ephedrae),Chantui(Cicada slough),Zhi Gancao(Roasted Radix Glycyrrhizae),Jiangcan(Bombyx Batryticatus)and so on were used more than 15 times. The main used drugs were warm drugs, the main medicinal tastes were sweet, pungency and bitter, and the main meridian affinity was lung meridian. There was a strong correlation between Difuzi(Fructus Kochiae)and Jili(Fructus Tribuli). Conclusion:In the prescriptions of treating childhood diseases under the guidance of Fufeng theory, the medicinal properties are mainly sweet, followed by cold, and the medicinal tastes are mainly pungency, sweet and bitter. The main affinity meridians are lung meridian, liver meridian and spleen meridian, and the effect is to dissipate wind and publicize lung, soothe wind and prevent spasticity, and clear heat and cool blood,so as to provide medication rules based on Fufeng theory for pediatric clinicians.
