The medication rules and thoughts of SUN Simiao on treating vertigo in Qianjin Fang
Objective:To explore the medication patterns and academic ideas of the prescriptions for treating dizziness in Beiji Qianjin Yaofang(《备急千金要方》)and Qianjin Yifang(《千金翼方》》),which are collectively referred to as Qianjin Fang(《千金方》).Methods:The prescriptions for treating dizziness in Qianjin Fang were sorted out to establish a database by Microsoft Excel 2021.IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 and IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 were used for data analysis,and Cytoscape 3.7.2 software was used to construct the visual network diagram.Results:A total of 64 TCM prescriptions were included,with 153 Chinese medicines.The main medicinal properties were Wen(温),Han(寒),and Ping(平).The main medicinal tastes were sweetness,pungency,and bitterness.The main tropism meridians were lung meridian,kidney meridian and spleen meridian.According to the classification of efficacy,the medicines used were mainly divided into tonifying drugs,drugs for relieving exterior disorder,and interior-warming drugs.There were 24 Chinese medicines with a used frequency of more than 10 times.There were 22 association rules,and 6 groups of high-frequency Chinese medicine clustering.Conclusion:The prescriptions for treating vertigo in Qianjin Fang have unique patterns.SUN Simiao treated the disease based on the external wind theory,inherited ZHANG Ji's academic ideas,established the treatment principles of dispelling wind and tonifying,and warming Yang(阳)and dredging collaterals,also took into account the treatment principle of eliminating phlegm and dissolving dampness,and payed attention to the treatment of primary diseases,with a wide range of drugs and diverse dosage forms,which has an important reference value for clinical treatment of vertigo.
