A bibliometric analysis of treating heart failure with tanshinone ⅡA
Objective:To understand the scientific output characteristics,research hotspots,and research frontiers in the field of treating heart failure with tanshinone ⅡA over the past 20 years,so as to provide directional references for researchers and research institutions in this field in the future.Methods:The literature on treating heart failure with tanshinone ⅡA was retrieved and screened out from CNKI,Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database,and Wanfang Data from January 1,2003 to December 30,2023.The visual analyses of scientific output,research hotspots,and research frontiers in this research field were performed by COOC 12.8,Vosview 1.6.18,and CiteSpace 6.2.R6.Results:The overall output of relevant literature in the field of treating heart failure with tanshinone ⅡA showed a wave-like development trend.Chinese Herbal Medicine,ranked first in the number of publications.The National Natural Science Foundation provided strong support for research in this field.Authors such as CAI Hui,ZHAO Zhiming,CHANG Wenjing,ZHAO Lingjie,and DONG Xiaolei had higher publication outputs and collaboration in this field.Among the research institutions,the Department of Integrated Traditional and Westem Medicine of Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region had the highest publication output;the Pharmacy Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University not only had higher publication output but also had more collaborations with other institutions,occupying an important position in this research field.Research hotspots included diseases related to heart failure,components determination and determination methods of Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine compound,signaling pathways of related action mechanisms,selection of observation indicators,trial methods,etc..The research frontiers were mainly signaling pathways,molecular docking,fingerprinting,action mechanisms,myocardial infarction,and oxidative stress.Conclusion:Research on the treatment of heart failure with tanshinone ⅡA has a certain foundation.In recent years,the research in this field has been further deepened.Based on previous research,clinical and experimental approaches should be combined,and researchers should actively participate to clarify the signaling pathways of action mechanism to perform precise combined medication,so as to serve clinical practice,thereby ameliorating the quality of life of patients.
