A study on pulse wave characteristics of common pulse conditions of Qi deficiency syndrome and Yin deficiency syndrome in type 2 diabetes
Objective:Based on the pulse wave theory, the pulse wave parameter characteristics of common pulse signs in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Qi(气)deficiency and Yin(阴)deficiency were analyzed respectively to provide objective data and technical support for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the integrative medicine. Methods:The pulse wave parameters of 72 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Qi deficiency and 82 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Yin deficiency were collected to analyze the relevant data by mathematical software and statistical methods. Results:The most frequent pulse in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency in the clinical study were thready pulse and stringy-rapid pulse, respectively. There were significant differences in h1,h2,h3,h4,and h3/h1 among the three pulse types of Cun pulse(寸脉),Guan pulse(关脉)and Chi pulse(尺脉)in the type 2 diabetes mellitus thready pulse group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in h1,h2,h3,h4,and h3/h1 among the three pulse types of Cun pulse,Guan pulse and Chi pulse in the type 2 diabetes mellitus stringy-rapid pulse group(P<0.05).The levels of h1,h2,h3,h3/h1,h4/h1 of the above three pulse types in the type 2 diabetes mellitus thready pulse group were higher than those in the normal control group, and the levels of h4,h4/h1,and As of Cun pulse were higher than the normal control group. The levels of h1,h2,h3,h4,h3/h1 of the above three pulse types in the type 2 diabetic mellitus stringy-rapid pulse group were higher than those in the normal control group,h4/h1 level of Guan pulse,As levels of Cun pulse and Guan pulse were higher than those in the normal control group, and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The common pulse parameters of Qi deficiency syndrome and Yin deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus have certain characteristics, and the pulse wave parameters in each group can reflect the physiological and pathological characteristics of different pulses, providing a reference basis for the objectification of pulse diagnosis information, and providing a basis for the standardized diagnosis and treatment of Qi deficiency syndrome and Yin deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
