A Quantitative Analysis on Sense Distribution Characteristic of Verb in Modern Mongolian
Every language has its own internal semantic law.The number of modern Mongolian verbs is considerable, the morphology changes are complex and changeable, and the semantic ex-pression is rich and diverse, plays a vital role in sentences. This paper uses the Mongolian dictiona-ry and a 10 000 sentence scale multi-level tagged corpus as data sources, with the number of sense as the independent variable and the number of words as the dependent variable.Using Altmann-Fit-ter probability distribution fitting software, the characteristics and laws of modern Mongolian verb sense distribution in static and dynamic environments are quantitatively analyzed, and the distribu-tion characteristics of modern Mongolian verb sense in different style corpus are compared and ana-lyzed.The results show that the number of sense in modern Mongolian verbs is inversely proportional to the number of words in both static and dynamic environments. The distribution of sense in modern Mongolian verbs in both static and dynamic environments conform to the positive negative binomial distribution model, and different style corpus have a certain impact on the distribution of sense in modern Mongolian verbs.
