The Regularity of Prescriptions for Diabetes in"Comprehensive Analysis of Proven Cases of Ancient and Modern Famous Experts on Diabetes"
Objective:To explore the regularity of prescriptions in"comprehensive analysis of proven cases of ancient and modern famous experts on diabetes",so as to better guide clinical practice.Methods:The prescriptions for the treatment of diabetes in this book were extracted,The data min-ing methods such as compatibility density analysis,association rules,factor analysis,and decision tree model were used to summarize the regularity of prescription in the treatment of diabetes.Results A total of 311 prescriptions were included,involving 226 traditional Chinese medicines,with a total of 3315 times of usage.The traditional Chinese medicine treating diabetes were mostly tonics,fol-lowed by heat-clearing ones;and the main properties of them were cold,and the tastes were mostly bitter and sweet,and most of them entered the spleen,kidney and stomach meridians.32 combina-tions of traditional Chinese medicine were obtained by association rule analysis;while factor analysis got 5 common factors.Decision tree model analysis demonstrated that with Dioscoreae Rhizoma as an independent variable,the best recognized Chinese medicine was Astragali Radix.Conclusion:Based on data mining,this study discovered high-frequency traditional Chinese medicine for diabetes treatment,revealed the regularity of prescriptions,and clarified the prescription and medication mode for diabetes treatment,which could provide a reference for the clinical treatment.
