From the perspective of high-quality economic development,this paper makes profound analysis on the impact of digital economy towards common prosperity through empirical research.It mainly adopts the panel data of 30 provinces from 2011 to 2020,constructs the common prosperity index system and the comprehensive development index of digital economy,and conducts data processing through entropy evaluation method and principal component analysis method.The empirical results indicate that the digital economy has a significant positive impact on common prosperity.Moreover,there are significant regional differences in the impact of digital economy on common prosperity,with the largest effect in the eastern region.Therefore,the article makes following proposals:increasing the support for the development of digital economy from the perspective of investment and policy,including infrastructure construction and the optimization of technological innovation environment;encouraging scientific and technological innovation,and encouraging enterprises to increase R & D investment through enhancing research and development funds and adopting tax incentives;developing differentiated regional and coordinated development strategies to narrow the digital gap;improving the digital literacy of the labor force and enhance the social foundation of common prosperity through digital education and training;incorporating the digital economy into the national long-term development strategy and formulating a long-term policy framework to achieve high-quality development.
