Theoretical Logic and Data Test of the Influence of Digital Rural Construction on Farmers' Income Improvement
The purpose of this paper is to explore the theoretical logic of digital village construction on the income improvement of rural households,and to verify the effectiveness of this logic through data testing.The model was regressed by analyzing the theoretical mechanism from the aspects of expanding the level of agricultural modernization and increasing non-farm employment opportunities,while adopting the data from County Digital Rural Index Research Report,2018 China Household Income Survey(CHIP2018)and 2019 China County Statistical Yearbook.The results show that the construction of digital villages has a significant effect on improving the income of rural households.From the perspective of different income estimation,the construction of digital villages can significantly increase the per capita disposable income,wage income,operating income and transfer income of rural households,but the promotion effect on the increase of rural households'property income is not obvious.From the perspective of different regions,the construction of digital villages has a more significant effect on the promotion of wage income in the western region,while the effect on the operating income of the non-western region is more significant.In addition,digital rural construction can promote the income increase of farmers by expanding the level of agricultural modernization and increasing non-agricultural employment opportunities.In the future,the construction of digital villages can be promoted by providing support and guarantees,implementing precise policies,and strengthening the mechanism.
