Chronicles of Rongyang Generation is an important work reflecting the historical geography of Rongmei region,with high his-torical literature and academic research value.Unlike the established practice of local chronicles being organized and compiled by local officials in various regions,the compiler of Chronicles of Rongyang Generation was Tian Shunnian,the Tusi of Rongmei.The book has been lost,and 54 lost articles in it have been compiled from various books,as genealogies,county chronicles,and state chronicles.As the most comprehensive historical document of Rongmei,the Chronicles of Rongyang Generation and its lost articles make a great sig-nificance for studying the local history of Rongmei and related issues.
